The location was remote, magnificent enough to get you started for a day of hiking. The breakfast I had was adequate with fresh fruit and including cereals, for instance.

No reason to complain, the venue met the demands. The hotel was an enjoyable base for enjoying a stunning area, really close to 'The Nun's Valley, Portugal and the Nun's cafe served quite good chestnut cake. The staff were extremely friendly and amicable as well, wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Impeccably clean and luxurious place and the breakfast was particularly good. The food at the restaurant was reasonably priced. The service was all in all welcoming. Had opportunity to use wake up service at no cost. The setting was stunning, close enough to up walk to Curral Das Freiras. Our stay was a great experience.

My guest room with a lovely view, an equally large balcony, for instance was new-fashioned. The hotel had indeed a marvellous and impressive location to the nun's valley. Moreover, it was just off tall mountains, Funchal for 3 weeks, and the eastern coast.
Well, Wi-Fi signal was very weak.

Efficient staff, alright food. We do recommend the hotel to friends as its location was SPECTACULAR. Placed within 15 minutes' car ride to Santa Cruz. We were able to park on-site.
